AmericasMart Recap

Posted on July 17, 2012 By jestroff (Edit) Leave a Comment

We’ve just wrapped up the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market at AmericasMart and we were so inspired by all the great new products and vendors we encountered. With over 400 exhibitors displaying everything from home decor to holiday decorations, the AmericasMart trade show was definitely the place to be if you are in the home furnishings industry.

Since we had a couple of things we wanted to share we decided to break it up into two parts. That way we can explore each vendor.
First we’ll start with the Amy Howard Home. The beautifully hand-crafted and hand-painted designs produced through the Amy Howard Collection are inspired by the styles and elegance dating back to the Renaissance and 17th and 18th Century France. We found a few pieces to integrate into our Cashiers Show House bedroom, and also found Amy, her daughter and staff to be lovely and down to earth.
Some of the pieces we fell in love with were the lucite upholstered bench (which we will use for the show house), the lucite legged chairs (they were so heavy), the TALL (er than me) floor lamps, and even some original artwork by Amy herself. We are so excited to be carrying this great line in our store.
We also added Alexandra Ferguson’s line of pillows. Whether you are outfitting your dorm room or nursery, there is a perfect pillow for every space. So go ahead and say it with a pillow!
Stay tuned to learn about our other featured vendors and our trip to Market.
