Living the “Suite Life” in Atlanta

Have you ever thought about taking an in-town vacation? We were definitely tempted to go in that directing after reading about some of Atlanta’s over-the-top Presidential Suites in the city’s most luxurious hotel’s courtesy of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The average size of a W Midtown Hotel’s Presidential Suite is 400-square-feet; they can cost as much as $5,000 during peak times. The dining room below sits as many as 10-12 people.

At the Mansion on Peachtree, your luxurious retreat includes a sitting area, dining and living rooms and a cozy spot to lounge fireside.

Inside Buckhead’s new St. Regis Hotel, the Empire Suite has fab, colorful touches and an enviable art collecting that includes these Murano Glass Birds, circa 1950.

The Empire Suite’s living room features a fireplace, and a flat-panel TV that is hidden behind artwork. The 2,800-square-foot suite rents for $ 6,000 a night. Other perks: a full kitchen, exercise room and the undivided attention of a St. Regis Butler.
