You know the mantra “out with the old and in with the new”, well when it comes to interior design it’s ok to mix the old and new together. Incorporate some of your vintage pieces with a couple more contemporary style furnishings.

 

 

 

When mixing styles make sure you choose one style to dominate the space and add the other style in as an accent. Also try and keep the walls a neutral shade, let your pieces create the interest and drama.
