Pantone, a leading color marketing group, is quite well known for its annual “Color of the Year.” Pantone also releases color trends, which are a series of color palettes. The groupings of related colors are fresh and inspirational. Here are some of Pantone’s 2014 Color Trends:
- Techno Color. This grouping embodies the vibrant energy of new technologies. One of the colors — Emerald — was Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2013.
- Sculpted Simplicity. This palette is subtle and neutral, letting a building’s architecture take center stage.
- Intimacy. Gentle and subtle, this grouping re-introduces us to soft colors, proving how sophisticated they can be.
- Tribal threads. This rich, diverse collection inspires with its global influences.
